Fokus is a mobile app aimed to help neurodivergent children develop critical skills that they might otherwise struggle with in a traditional classroom. Inspired by the Bauhaus movement of graphic design, which prizes function over aesthetic, this app will help children with autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent disorders build skills relating to memory, cognition, pattern recognition, and speech. By playing straightforward, visually stimulating games like Memory, the Stroop Test, and Matching, children can have fun while developing skills they need to succeed.
Children with autism and ADHD face developmental challenges that often affect their ability to communicate effectively, develop and sustain relationships, tolerate their surroundings, navigate their social world, and/or succeed in academics.
Traditional education as we know it is not built for neurodivergency, so we’ve created an app that aims to help them outside the classroom.
